Nancy Merrill Sayed Hi Nancy, Do you have Thomas and Sopia's marriage certificate? that might give an age or place of birth for her. Or maybe her death certificate? Depending on the informant, that could give you more clues. Is it possible she was born Scotland as well, and her family moved to England when she was young? I ask that because in the IGI there are a couple Sophia Drummonds born in Scotland that fit the time frame you give, and doing a parent search reveals that at least one of these families had over 5 children.
