I should have mentioned that Andrew Robertson went into partnership with Hazen Mooers in about 1836. They had an independent trading post for about three years on the Minnesota River. He was named the first superintendent of Indian education on the Sioux reservation. When he died, his wife, Daybreak Woman, took over the post. Sonja
