Andrew ROBERTSON Scotsman. Fur trader in upper Great Lakes area, Canada and Michigan. Later moved to Minnesota with his wife, Jane Anderson (AKA Daybreak Woman) back to her homeland of the Dakota Sioux. they had a son, Thomas who was a messenger during the Dakota Conflict of 1862. Jane was born in 1810. By a photo taken in 1863, I'd estimate that her son was in his early 20's. Andrew Robertson appeared to be 60ish, but due to a harsh life, probably looked older. I'd place his birth in the late 1790's-1800. Sonja
