Dear Pat, I'm researching the GRAHAM's from Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, S of Glasgow. In your search, are you finding any details about GRAHAM lineage? Robert "one of nine", b est 1795-1800, m est 1820 to a Jennie _____ in Ayrshire. Their youngest of nine, James B., was b NOV 1834 in Ayshire, and R & J emigrated from Ayrshire in 1846. NOTE: I was in Newcastle and Sydney Australia, two years ago. One of the 'hosts' was in Melbourne the week before, with family "on a holiday"...maybe next time! Your reqion in Scotland is an exact match...I do not have Jennie's maiden name. These 'puzzle pieces' are so amazing! This is quite a process. Looking forward to your next updates. Sheila
Hi Sheila, Thank you for your note, but I am a little confused by it. I am not sure who you mean when you ask for Jennie's maiden name. I am only asking for the county in which a parish lies. This research refers to the surname AITKEN and the other Scottish names that I have are CAITHNESS from Dundee in Angus and WILLIAMSON for Northmavine in Shetland isles. Unfortunately I cannot help you with GRAHAMs. Regards Pat Melbourne, Aust.
