The UK Surnames List Website (formerly Cumbria Surnames) has recently expanded and now accepts and indeed welcomes surnames interests from Scotland, County Durham, Northumberland, as well as Cumbria, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Wales and Ireland. If you haven't used the site before, the format is different from most surname listing sites in that it is maintained by the users dynamically - i.e. you are in control of your own entries and can add amend delete them as you wish - this just requires a simple registration so that we know who you are and to allow you editing rights on your entries.
