I was wondering if some kind person can help me. I am looking for the birth of a John MILL, 1843 in MARKINCH. I have looked on the Scotland peoples site but he doesn't appear to be there. I know he was adopted by a Dr and Mrs LANG and was brought up and educated in Tayport. I am trying to trace his real parents' names. He emigrated to Port Chalmers, New Zealand in 1862 on the 'Sarah Anne.' He married a Mary WILSON in 1863. Has anyone any ideas as to where else I can look. Regards Sally
