Hi - I am trying to make a connection to my great great grandfather John Dingwall -born 1808 in Glasgow, Lanark. IGI shows his parents as being John Dingwall and Jean Taylor. I have found one Jean Taylor who married a John Dingwall in Fintry, Stirling. My question is- where is Fintry Stirling? Is it near Glasgow and if not, where would a good site be to check?
