Could someone tell me how to access the census for Scotland. Did they do this every 10 years. I'm interested in finding my grandfather Samuel Alexander Dinning and great-grandmother Susan (Blackstock) Dinning in Lanark Scotland. They left Armagh ? and went to Scotland in the Glasgow area. My father Samuel and two siblings were born in Scotland and moved to Hamilton Canada about 1913. How much information was given in the census of the time of 1900-1910 Sam Dinning Hamilton Ontario

There is progressively more information every 10 years. You can search the 1891 census on-line for a fee at http://www.origins.net/ The 1901 census will be available next year.
