To everyone who helped me to organise the silly dial up connection box many thanks. Today, I have solved it. It was really giving me a bad time and since writing to the lists, it started to dial up all on its own! Didn't believe in gremlins, I do now and am reviewing Santa Claus and the tooth fairy. Solution: When online and wanting to disconnect, I used to double click the computer screens and then click disconnect on my 4.0. Not in 5.0!! it does not work properly, hence the problem I had with the dial up. I now go into File - Work Offline and then answer yes. Magic.
