    3. Hi there This is my family below. However I need someone's help with the word BROCAIR. I have heard it means 'badger hunter' or 'fox hunter'. So then did BROCAIR become an area where people lived in Scotland and thus they used the name BROCAIR literally like I have below. Were their Bocair Frasers and other surnames too? When I look the name BROCAIR up for a surname on the LDS site, my CD's and Rootsweb there are no BROCAIRS. Have I confused you with this. Sorry if I have but I am confused. Help please! 3. Hi, Judy, if you look up Brocair in Google.com, you find a lot of use of the name to do with dog-breeding, then further down there is a section of old maps. This shows Brocair, spelt Breacaer, as a town or village on the Isle of Lewis. I hope this helps. best regards Lorraine in W Australia
