    3. Betty, Would also like to say "thank you" for the lists you have subscribed of the lost children who were shipped from the U.K. to former Commonwealth countries. In 1992 a book came out in Australia named "The Lost Children" but when I asked to buy a copy in Woolongong, N.S.W. was told none left after a call to Sydney. Happily there is one waiting for me to collect in Perth W.A. end next month named "The Lost Children of The Empire" by Philip Bean and the contact address for this out of print book is: muir@merriweb.com.au Thousands of children never ever saw their families again because of these cruel actions. Indeed, many parents did not know their children had been shipped off but the Records which lay in Archives have now come to light and many questions are being asked after 50/60 years on.
