A quick comment. I would recommend the "Teach Yourself _____ Visually" series by IDG. I have them all for Office 97, Excel 97, Computers and the Internet, Windows 95, Access 97 and Word 97. Outlook is in the Office 97 book. They are just wonderful and self-explanatory in a very clear, logical manner with lots of graphics to illustrate. My impression after reviewing them at the bookstore is that they are a little better, maybe a little more substance, than the "Simplified" series also by IDG and recommended in a previous post. They cost about $30 USD ea., but are worth every penny. I've noticed they are coming out with new versions on the whole Microsoft 2000 software. Look them up on www.amazon.com or the other internet bookstores such as barnes and noble and you can probably get reviews and order for reduced prices. Good luck to all, Nancy Mayville Alton, NH, USA
