Does anyone know if the Daughters of Scotia lodge is still in existence? My mother and aunt (both born in Scotland - emigrated to America in 1909) were both members of the Lady Leslie Lodge, Daughters of Scotia in Westerly, Rhode Island. It was apparently a group of Scottish ladies who were living in the U.S.A. but held on to their Scots heritage. We have just now come across a ledger book of the group which goes back quite a few years. Would like to publish the names of the members of the local lodge, but we're not sure that such a practice would be condoned if the parent organization is still active. Would be pleased to hear from anyone with any information about the group. Lucille (Adams) Richmond
