HENRY BIRRELL died at Thornton Poor House in 1913, but we cannot find Mary after 14 years searching. After the birth of Thomas in Edinburgh 1873 we have not been able to locate the death of Mary Elizabeth (KIRK) BIRRELL who was the daughter of JAMES KIRK and agent of Newcastle.
