Hi Janet, You are further back than I have researched on my STRACHAN. Mine is Isabella STRACHAN married Charles DEAS 5th October 1811 at Nth Leith, Midlothian. Scotland. I haven't been able to find anything earlier on Isabella yet. Just now I tried a few times on the I.G.I. site, but kept getting disconnected. I do better early in the morning on the I.G.I. Just have to make myself et out of bed earlier. I'll let you know if I find anything significant.
