I am seeking information on the siblings of William ECKFORD, born 1757 in Kilwinning near Irvine, North Ayrshire. His parents were John ECKFORD and Janet BLACK. His siblings were Henry (famous shipbuilder in USA), John (doctor in USA navy?), James (farmer in Ayrshire), Peter (businessman in stocking trade in Paisley). William was the first Eckford in Australia and came as Firing Captain on the "Earl Cornwallis" in 1804. He left the ship in Sydney and took up farming.
