You might like to know, that in Family History Centres, there is a colourful set of Index fiche for SCOTLAND entitled GIVEN NAME INDEX TO BIRTHS, CHRISTENINGS GIVEN NAME INDEX TO MARRIAGES These are colour coded so you'll not accidentally pick up the Surname Index.
