No I don't recollect your McPherson/Leitch connection, are you a member of the clan-macpherson-l if not and if you would like to join the list just send an E-Mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with nothing in the subject line, in the body of the message write, subscribe clan-macpherson list Mary Lindsay you may be able to get more help there, have you heard of the clan macpherson website, <A HREF="http://www.clan-macpherson.org">Clan-macpherson website</A> www.clan-macpherson.org it has all sorts of things about the clan, Do you have a specific question on your McPherson/Leitch ancestors that I can answer perhaps, no promises my McPherson roots are from Argyll on the West coast of Scotland, so as far as I can determine they are not connected to the Badenoch clan of Cluny Macpherson but to the Campbells. I am however a member of the Clan Macpherson Association in Scotland, in the history of the Clandowill Campbell-McPhersons it states that modern day descendants have generally lost there genealogy and assume roots with the Badenoch Macphersons.
