This thread reminds me of how I found some of my own ancestors in the 1881 census. I found the family I was seeking, and noticed that, as usual, several of the children had apparently died. Or had they? On a whim, I searched for each of the children I knew about. And I found one, along with three new little brothers, living in the Poor House down the road. The moral of the story is - keep looking!!
