Does anyone know if there is a 1841 census for Dornoch, Sutherland, I have been trying to find information on my g.g.g.grandfather Donald Gibson and I can not find anything that says when and where he was born. All I know about him is, he married Janet MacKay of Stath Achvaich on Dec 3 1823 in Dornoch, their children were Catherine Feb 9 1824, Alexander Aug 28 1825, Marion Oct 18 1827, Margaret 1828, Joanna Feb 25 1830, Helen Nov 8 1832 and Mary Oct 22 1835. In the Parish record for Donald and Janets marriage, it states he was from Skibo and at this point I have found nothing that leads me to believe he was born in Sutherland.
