Hi Listers, I am researching my McKay family. There is some evidence that they lived in area of Glasgow. My gggrandfather was James McKay born 1818 in Ireland, probably Co.Down. His parents were said to be John Neil McKay and Catherine McCusker. He had a brother John and sister Elizabeth. The McKay family moved to Scotland about 1820. James married Cecilia Lawson 1841 at Dundee and they moved to USA.Eventually, they settled in Oregon. I would like to locate descendants of his brother John McKay who stayed in Glasgow area.
