Can anyone help with a simple look up please? I am trying to find Margaret Mary Corrigan born Nov.16, 1900 in Glasgow, Scotland (Lanarkshire). I have from her death certificate that her mothers name was Margaret Corrigan and her fathers name was John Monnick. I believe that Monnick was MMC's stepfather. I do know sometime (it is unsure when) the family (CORRIGAN or MONNICK) moved to Edinburgh. She worked in London in 1918 as a telephone operator and in 1924/1925 came into the USA, married and her first child (my mother) was born August 26, 1931. I have no access to the 1901 index for Scotland. If there is an index to the 1901 Scotland census, could SKS please confirm if she is on it (or either family) or not? Also for Edinburgh(Midlothian), could someone check a Scotland census of 19ll for a family MONNICK (John as head) with wife(Margaret) and at least one child--daughter Margaret. Also in both areas, could someone check for any CORRIGAN family with a wife:Margaret and daughter Margaret/Mary? I need as much help as I can get! This wall keeps getting thicker!
