Haven't posted my search interests for a while. Researching the name RYRIE. Brick wall are John RYRIE, born (christened) 1738 Bylbster, married to Margaret HENDERSON, on 3 Jan 1757 in Watten. They had five children: Donald, born 1757 Watten, William 1761 Watten, Anne 1767 Watten, John 1759 Watten, Alexander 1764 Watten. Any and all information appreciated. Regards from Michigan Lynn M. Hi Lynn, I am also researching the Chisholm family. My father was Harry Chisholm. Our family lived in Pennsylvania. Other members of the family may have settled elsewhere. His relatives, Thomas Chisholm, came from Renfrew, Scotland in 1871. Thomas Chisholm's father was Daniel Chisholm birth in 1808 in Ireland. I have a lot more info, but thought this is enough to see if there is any connection to your Chisholm. Isabell Chisholm, may be the daughter of Alexander Chisholm and Jean Fraser, was born 16 Jun 1766, in South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. The children of William Tait and Isabell Chisholm are: 1. James Tait - born 17 Apr 1788, in Humbie, East Lothian, Scotland. He was christened 27 Apr 1788 in Humbie, East Lothian, Scotland. Married Jean Robertson. 2.
