JAMES McLEAN SIMPSON was born in Aberdeen c 1900. He came out to South Africa and joined Simmer & Jack Deep Mine in the Transvaal. Married CAROLINE JOHNSON, who was born in the Transvaal, and known as Granny Dolly. He died in 1984. James had brothers ALEXANDER and TOM and a sister ANN. Tom's wife was named MARLENE, and Ann married a DICK CAIN and had children Penny and Michael. They all lived in the Transvaal. An uncle, ALEXANDER McLEAN SIMPSON is said to have been in the Royal Navy. Does anybody recognize this family? We would like to find the Scottish family. Go well.
