I have JAMES SIMPSON, an Engineer's Fitter, marrying CAROLINE JOHNSTON on November 28, 1918 in Blythswood District. I need to know just where this would be. They had a daughter, MATILDA ANN SIMPSON (we always thought it was just Ann) born at 66 Lightburn Road, CAMBUSLANG, Lannark. There were two other children, ALEXANDER and HENRY HERBERT but we have no details of their birth. For passport reasons we urgently need to find birth of JAMES SIMPSON and would love to know more about the Scots roots in any case.
