I am trying to find the marriage of Charles MURRAY b 1824 who married an Ann (maiden name unknown) around 1848/1850 somewhere in Scotland. Charles was born in 1824 On the 1901 census his place of birth was Lanarkshire. I really want to know his wife Ann's maiden name so I can trace her parents. What records are available on line relating to BMD's before registration ? Any help most gratefully appreciated. Angela Maskell
