    1. Re: cousin found
    2. Hi List, I really appreciated hearing about finding a cousin. I also just found a cousin who I had been looking for 2 1/2 years in WA, Australia. I had posted several notes over the years, with no luck. Two weeks ago someone gave me the name of someone living in WA. I sent off an E-mail and had a reply two days later, and he had already gone to his local Library, and had come up with names. And within the next couple of days would go to the local cemetery to see what he could come up with. I quickly responded with the name I thought was his. A couple of days later I received an E-mail with more names that we thought were part of my Uncles family. To make a long story short, he went and found the Obituary's of the most likely Uncle, and you guessed it he found him. He called the funeral director, and got names of next of kin. This man has already spoken on the phone with members of my family. My letter to them with all sorts of information of the Scottish family members. I am waiting to hear through snail mail, which takes time. I began working on genealogy 2 1/2 years ago and 1 year ago SEPT 10, 2001 I left to meet a 1/2 sister in Scotland I did not know I had until several months into working on my ancestry. All these stories take place because of all the kind people on these web sites, who go the mile to help people. Keep up all the good work, it certainly will be appreciated. Joanne (USA)
