According to my DODS family tree, produced back in 1880 in Haddington, East Loithian, My ggg grandfather,William DODS (1795-1873) married Harriet SHIRREFF (1804-1853)in Mungowells, East Loithian. William's grandfather William DODS (c1711-1795) came to Haddington from Cransaws, Berwickshire. Julie I hope we have a connection.
