To Angus Robinson, I was wondering if you might by some chance have an Emma Robertson in your line. She was born in 1877 & her parents were James Robertson & Emma McBe(a)th. They were married in Stirling & John was born in Lochgilpead, Argyll. James died before 1902 as he was deceased for the wedding of Emma Robertson & John McInnes. Emma McBeth remarried a Murray. I believe Emma Robertson's parents were from Stirling, Stirling & married on 24/Nov 1865. I have found a Charles Frederick Robertson born to James & Emma Robertson who was born on 27 Jun 1867 in the IGI but no other children to this couple, not even Emma. This Charles Frederick rings bells for me as we have 2 Charles Frederick McInnes's born since the marriage of Emma Robertson & John McInnes & could not find where the name came from. It does not come from the McInnes line. One of our Charles Frederick McInnes's is the son of Emma Robertson & John McInnes, the other is their grandson from Charles brother John.
