Greetings all - I was searching some Ontario, Canada marriages today working on my wife's family. On the same page as one of her ancestors was the following: David MAXWELL, age 52, born Tealing, Forfarshire, Scotland, son of James Maxwell and Rachel Maxwell (sorry, no maiden name) married to Helen Walker, age 36, born in Ayr, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Robert and Esther Walker (again no maiden name). Marriage took place in Paris, Ontario on October 10, 1883. Rev. J. W. Ballantine officiated. Both were adherents of the Presbyterian Church Both were residents of Paris, as were both witnesses, Rebecca Walker and James W. (looks like) Brenaman. David's profession listed as "Manufacturer".
