Having gathered information for several years now on Rob and his siblings, I have found that Robs son Coll had a daughter Kate whom married a Duncan (have a picture from the Quaich that looks exactly like my father) and they lived at a house at Strathyre, that was once owned by Robs son James Mor. I have in my notes that Coll may have had a son Grigor who married Katherine McIver about 1741ish.. they had TWINS Donald and Duncan born Nov 1st 1742.. As twins run in my family, I'm thinking maybe this is the Duncan I search for for parent for my Grigor born 1769 at Auchmore Estate, which for sure is not far from Strathyre, 10 12 miles if I remember right. So we would have Rob born 1671 Coll born about 1695 Grigor born about `1725ish Duncan 1741ish My Grigor born for sure 1769 I have looked at the other sons also and their families, as well as Black Knee Grigor of Glengyle...Would anyone be researching this line???
