Dear Bob, If your brother runs into the name BALLANTYNE/BANNATYNE or BALLANTINE in any of the Places he searches, if he could make a wee note of the name, date and location and send it to daphnejacob@snet.net in Hartford, Ct. USA, he would have my undying gratitude. Have my direct line of ancestors from the Ballantyne who immigrated to the USA, but not any one from Scotland, where the family was a Sept of the Clan Campbell, whose territories included Auchterarder.
