Could you look up Alexander Ferrier and Jean Stratton Croll. I know that they lived in Montrose prior to Feb. 25, 1827, the birth of their son, James. They had two other children, Susan and Elizabeth, also born in Montrose. I know that their son James eventually moved to Brechin with his wife Jane Corneil, but I am uncertain if his parents remained in Montrose. Thanks for your help!
