Hello, I have enjoyed the explanations of the differences in time and the changes to the calendar in England and Scotland for the English speaking people. But I still have a question which remains unanswered. What about the calendar of the Gaelic speaking people of North Knapdale, Argyllshire during the period of 1775 through 1810. I find differences between the Scottish Registry birth dates and the dates on the tombstones of those persons who migrated to North Carolina and formed the Argyll Colony along the Cape Fear River. I would appreciate any help which might be given. I have already considered the birth and christing date as possible differences and that is not the problem.
