Hi all, Isabella MCLEOD was born c 1816 Ardgay Rosshire, the daughter of Hugh MCLEOD and Margaret MCGREGOR. She was tried at Inverness Court of Justiciary 25 September 1838 and received a sentence of 7 years for stealing a watch. She arrived on the "Planter" in 1839. Is anybody researching MCLEOD in Rosshire and have an Isabella who disappeared around 1838. I'd love to hear from you. Cheers Jan Canberra Australia
