In a rush of enthusiasm I bought the 1881 census from LDS in Salt Lake ity - I live in the UK. It was dealt with very quickly, arriving in a week, but the freight charges were high, as were the handling and VAT imposed by UK customs. I have since found out you can order from Birmingham in the UK - my recommendation would therefore be to buy from there if you live in Europe - that way there is some money left to feed the kids! More info on their web site. Regards Andy Bernard -----Original Message----- From: L. I have seen references to 1881 census CDs being for sale (yes, I've even seen it on the familysearch web site), and for ordering from a UK distribution centre, possibly in Birmingham. Has anybody out there bought anything from them? Are they OK? What else do they sell? Do they have a catalogue/web site? What's the best way to get in touch? Or is there a better place in the UK for buying this sort of thing? I'm sure there are other people out there who would also appreciate this information.
