Although I have access to and am familiar with the information in the OPR's, I would like additional information as follows: (1) What does OPR abbreviate? Old Parish Records? Old Parochial Registers? (2) How broad is the coverage? Do they cover all the parishes in Scotland back into the 1600s or just selected ones? (3) How complete is the coverage? Do they include all records for included parishes or are there gaps in the records? (4) Are additional records being added on a continuing basis? (5) Who should be given credit for collecting and compiling these records? Thanks for whatever information you can provide.
