Hi Everyone, I am new to the list and am hoping SKS will help me with some current information. I have just found out that my grandfather had / has a half brother, first name unknown last name STANLEY. I have been told that he moved from Ireland and currently lives in the Highlands with or near his son(s). I will show my ingorancy by telling you, I don't know in which county the Highlands are located! Sorry. I am hoping someone can offer some suggestions as to how to locate this person. Is there an on-line phonebook (whitepages) that I could search for this person or at least get addresses for STANLEY's listed. (I did a euroseek search, but could not find anything). I ran into a similar problem with an ancestor to went to Australia, and I wrote to a the people in the phonebook with the same last name, and guess what....I got a letter from an unknown 3rd cousin.
