Fay In the case of death at sea it is most likely registered in London but will show up at the Scottish Record Office in 'Marine Returns'. This means you may not get full details of parents etc. I checked the local papers for a report of my ggrandfather's death. I didn't find it but may look again when I revisit Scotland. Jim McArthur
