Membership of Rootsweb lists is a self help thing, setup so list owners (and I am one of them) don't have to spend too much unpaid time running them . You need to send a UNSUBSCRIBE message to SCOTLAND-GENWEB-L-request@rootsweb.com Then send a SUBSCRIBE message to SCOTLAND-GENWEB-D-request@rootsweb.com And this will change you from one mode to the other.
