I am looking for a needle in a haystack so could I please trouble you to check to see if there is a memorial stone in that churchyard for a man who left Scotland from Montrose for East New Jersey and died in New Jersey in July 1700. I can only hope that someone missed a son or brother enough to erect a monument to his memory. The name is Alexander Scott. He died in Elizabethtown NJ . Thank you for taking the trouble to look.
