I expect you are aware that Evelyn Greer was Greer Garson's (Eileen Evelyn Greer Garson) aunt. Greer Garson was a frequent visitor to the Murrays and with the early death of Greer Garson's father, James Campbell Murray became a second father to the famous actress. 'Mrs Miniver' portrayal was modelled on aunt Evelyn Greer. There is quite a bit about the Murrays including some photographs in the recent biography " A Rose for Mrs Miniver- The Life of Greer Garson" by Michael Troyan.
