Hello List, This is my second posting regarding this. I had several previous replies from the list stating that money orders and / or drafts would be the best way. I have just contacted my bank to find out about this and they have told me that it will cost be 12 pounds sterling over and above the cost of the draft to send the money abroad. As the amount I will be sending abroad is 15 pounds which is payment to a Historical Society for sending me some photocopies of papers then I think the additional 12 pounds is quite excessive especially when they cannot guarantee that the people at the other end will not incur charges too. Surely there is a cheaper way to send money abroad without the other person receiving the money having to pay any charges. I look forward to some help and advice on this matter.
