    1. Old Castle called Cookney?
    2. Hi all; hope I get thru; Rootsweb seems to reject any e-mail ending in (.cc). anyway, heard from someone some years ago that there is old fallen down castle named Cookney, plus village nearby called Cookney...somewhere maybe on road to Glasgow???? My grandfather, Theodore James Cookney, was born in London in 1879. His baptismal records, plus names of his parents, on file at church there; Anglican. They ended up as Brit Mormons...would appreciate any insight into "Castle Cookney." Thanks! 3. Hoping to find some descendants of this couple. They were married Aug 7, 1922 at 90 1/2 Great Hamilton St, Glasgow. According to the marriage certificate both were living at 16 North St.Andrews St., Edinburgh at the time of the marriage, maybe the bride's family still lived in Glasgow. Annie's parents were James MacKay & Barbara McCrae. Leonard's parents were John MacKenzie & Elizabeth Jamieson. Albert was my grandfather's brother, he was born Aug 31, 1892 Temple, Midlothian. Annie's full name on the marriage certificate is listed as "Annie Margaret Smith Sutherland Polson McCrae MacKay" Would love to exchange information.
