    2. A "flesher" is a person who removed the flesh from hides. Your person probably worked in a tannery, a place to prepare hides (leather) for clothing and shoes. A brief check of marriage indexes found their to be umpteen Kathleen Margaret Taylors marrying. Also the family may have emigrated to Canada. Can't find either of their parents in the English death indexes. Have found their only other cousin, he knows nothing of the family as he grew up separate from them. I have tried every thing under the sun. Also tried the English National Health Register, they found Kay, but no current address. John they couldn't look for because I didn't have his DOB or full name. (he probably has an initial. Salvation Army would help but can't for the same reasons above. Hence, if I can get John's DOB, I can then start my search anew. 1. Archibald McLaurin/Archibald Holmes
    2. Hello: I'm seeking information on Archibald McLaurin and / or Archibald Holmes who was a Cape Fear North Carolina resident and a relative of Daniel/Donald and Christian Munn Graham and Alexander and Mary McCormick. According to the story in the Argyll Colony Plus article, Archibald had invited them to America (from Scotland) to stay with him. After the family departed the Dalton (the boat of John Paul Jones) they had a long journey to Cumberland County. I would appreciate any information. According to the information the family has, Archibald last name was Holmes, but in someone sent the surname McLaurin. Thaks for you time. JoAnn

My guru has suggested that if you are not having any luck when following the advise being given, that you may need to reinstall the software for outlook express. If it isn't properly installed ( not your fault it just happens sometimes ) the program will run just not to it's full ability. Outlook express is part of Internet Explorer 5 & is freely available on the Internet at www.microsoft.com Good luck.
