Our records indicate William and John Hamilton immigrated to The U.S. from Scotland about 1791. However, we may not have the correct information. Our relatives settled in the Albany, N.Y. area. We would be interested in knowing if you know the children of John and where they lived. William had a son who was also named William. The second William lived in Williamstown and Lodi, New York. It is interesting that you say your John came to this country because he was in trouble with the crown. We hear that our John stole a horse after he came to this country. Don Hamilton
