I am trying to find where my Moorhead family relatives came from, but I do not have much to go on. My gr-gr-grandmother was Jane Moorhead born (I think) in Quebec, Canada abt 1824. Her parents were William & Katherine Moorhead born abt 1797 and 1801 respectively, I don't know where. William's mother was called Agnes Moorhead. If you recognise these names from your family tree, I would like to hear from you. My family members may have gone to Canada in early 1800's. The name may originally have been spelt MUIRHEAD.
