That is the only information I have. I have heard that he died in Scotland and I am assuming that he died young. I have found the "scotlandspeople" site good in that the marriage/death records include the names of the person's parents, which lets you know whether you have got the person you are looking for or not. I found a number of Hugh Roses but not the right one. Has anyone any ideas as to why there may be no record of his death or where else I might look to find any information on him ?
