Not sure if he was born in Scotland or Canada. Parents were Isabella "Dolly" Lindsey of Scotland and Darrell Armstrong. Couple possibly married during the war then came to Canada. Dolly returned to Scotland with son Alexander about 1949. Town in Scotland only know to begin with the word Kirk!
