I have the entire family tree from back to Sir Walter Dundas. John Deas had 9 sons and one daughter. John Deas arrived in Charleston, SC on January 28, 1749 and our records show he was born in Leith on January 25, 1735. He and his brother David Deas were the 3rd largest slave traders in America. Many of the family possessions are now in the Charleston, South Carolina museum. If I can be of any help, let me know. Regards Lisa Deas
